What to pitch

Propose a focused story about a place-related question, feature or comparison. Strong pitches explain why the subject matters to readers, what the piece would examine and how you would support its factual claims. Specific details and a clear angle are more useful than a broad survey.

A good fit

We are interested in evergreen, reader-friendly work that helps people notice how venues and their surroundings function. Avoid show reviews, promotional copy, unsupported claims and pieces that depend on access or expertise you do not have. Do not send confidential material or assume a pitch will be accepted.

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include a short summary, the proposed approach and any relevant experience or links you wish us to consider. We cannot promise publication or a response time, and we will agree terms before any commissioned work begins.
